BR7 -The Flying Carpet-

The carpet sped towards the mountains. At last it began to slow down. "I hope it knows how to land," said Kipper. "It looks a long way down." The carpet landed safety. When the boy's mother saw him, she couldn't believe her eyes. She looked at the carpet and she looked at Biff and Kipper. "My son is safe," she said, "thank you."(pp.22-23)


Today, I read "The Flying Carpet"
It is Oxford Reading Tree and written by Roderick Hunt and Alex Brychta.
Biff and Chip brought a old and drty carpet.
They read books on the carpet, suddenly, the carpet are flying!
They fly over deserts and mountains.
Then, they met a little boy. He is a real king of a land, but his uncle lock him and his mother run away to the mountains.
So they fly to meet his mother, finally, he could met his mother.

The littel boy gave Biff and Chip a present.
They are very happy.
The story of the book is very interesting!

But as the hare napped, the tortoise walked. Slow, slow, slow. And guess what? By and by, teh tortoise passed the hare! After a while, the hare woke up. "Oh, no! The tortoise is winning!" he yelled. He jumped up and hopped along the path. But it was no use. The tortoise crossed the finish line first. "The tortoise won! The tortoise won!! all the animals cheered. "How did you ever the hare?" asked the horse. The tortoise grinned, "The hare may be fast, but slow and ateady wins the race." (pp.12-16)
